COVID SAFE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Bakehouse Studios have implemented a safety policy and conditions of entry to protect the safety and well being of our customers and staff. The policy will be updated as government restrictions ease and will be in place until further notice.

As a condition of entry to Bakehouse Studios, you must agree and adhere to these guidelines at all times.

In adherence to government guidelines that mitigate against the spread of Covid-19, customers and staff are required to practice the following safety guidelines.

General

  1. All patrons over 18, staff, contractors, volunteers, students on work placement are required to be fully vaccinated (have 2 x doses of vaccine) and be able to show valid Digital certificate for entry

  2. Practice physical distancing of 1.5m at all times.

  3. Practice good hygiene and wash hands regularly.

  4. Remain at home if you are feeling (even slightly) unwell. (We will offer a free make up session per cancellation policy)

  5. Minimise interactions with other customers and staff. We encourage you to be as prepared as possible, to minimise loaning equipment from the office. 

  6. Please avoid splitting bills between band members and organise for a single payment, to avoid traffic and interaction in the office.

  7. Collect freshly sanitised Mic’s and leads from Bakehouse office on arrival., please bring your own mic whenever possible.

  8. No smoking/vaping in common areas. Smoke breaks must be taken off-site to ensure ample space for mandated fresh air breaks and clear thoroughfares.

  9. Every two hours bands should take a fresh air break, leave the door of their room open and fan / AC on for a minimum of 5 minutes, ideally longer.

In rehearsal spaces 

  1. Please avoid congestion in thoroughfares when loading im

  2. Where possible, we ask that you BYO microphone and personal equipment.

  3. No guests are allowed at the studio during this time.

  4. All sessions will now finish at 5pm and 11pm to allow time for cleaning, and minimise patron time spent in the building.

Payment: 

  1. We prefer not to accept cash wherever possible. Split payments are strongly discouraged.

  2. All payments will be made electronically and with contactless means where possible. 

Communal Spaces and Facilities: 

  1. A limit of 2 persons allowed in the kitchen at a time. 

  2. A limit of 1 customer in the office.

  3. Use physical distancing markers in the foyer, and in toilet lines.

  4. Congregating in groups in communal spaces is discouraged. Physical distancing guidelines must be followed. 

  5. If you would like tea or coffee, please bring your own cup or mug.

  6. We encourage you to leave the building during your break. Go for a walk around the block, purchase food and drinks from local businesses.

  7. We encourage you to dine in at local restaurants as opposed to taking meal breaks on site.

  8. No food preparation on site.

Storage: 

  1. All storage customers are required to call Bakehouse before picking up or dropping off gear. This needs to be done outside of load in times if possible, to limit foot traffic.

What Bakehouse will be doing 

  1. Deep cleaning of the facility and equipment after each session 

  2. Customer facing staff will be wearing masks

  3. All microphones and leads will now be kept in the office to ensure sanitation before use. 

  4. Provide safety guidelines to all staff and customers 

  5. Checking vaccination status if required

  6. Provide hand sanitizer 

  7. Inform and train staff on current Safety guidelines and procedures

  8. Contingency plan for if there is a positive case at Bakehouse
